Jolie (Anna Griffin)

I have a couple of layouts to share today using an Anna Griffin collection - 'Jolie'.

As the papers are quite fussy in this collection I kept the layouts simple - punching edges etc wouldn't have shown up. Once I had created the background by layering up different papers I added a strip of ribbon, some die-cut shapes raised on foam tape (from the co-ordinating die-cut pack) a velvet flower and a 3D sticker with gold foil. The stickers which co-ordinate with this collection are beautiful - all layered up 3-Dimensionally and have foil accenting giving them a really smart finish.

We have different stickers and die-cut packs available from this collection to the ones I have used which would equally well.

To view the full collection click here

I used the reverse of one of the papers for my cream square in the middle of this layout.

Treasured Moments (Kaiser Craft)

I have had one of the Kaiser Craft collections released at the end of last year on my desk for a while so thought it was about time I used it! I created two layouts using this beautiful collection in pretty greens, golds and pinks.

For the first layout I used a punch around the page punch and the 'Memory' paper to create a focal point. I then layered papers up on top of this. The clock, butterflies and key hole were all cut from the 'Recall' paper.

For the second layout I used a sheet of Kraft cardstock as the base and the leftover part of the 'Nostalgia' paper which I had used on the first layout. I added a punched edge from cardstock and a border sticker. I stamped some sentiments using black archival ink and finished with a selection of paper flowers. The large rose on the top left hand corner was from the sticker sheet which co-ordinates with this set - I raised it with some foam tape to make it look 3D.

As always, a link to all the products I used in these layouts are below :)

Woodland Winter (Bo Bunny)

Today I wanted to share a couple of layouts I have been working on using the 'Woodland Winter'  collection by Bo Bunny. We haven't had any snow yet so I have kept the spaces blank in the hope we get snow soon and I can then just add my pictures!

I kept the base of my first layout quite simple by layering up 4 different sized squares of cardstock/paper. I added some chipboard stickers and die-cuts to embellish.

My second layout started with a vertical strip of paper which I added a punched edge of snowflakes too on each side before backing it on some brown cardstock to make it stand out. I created a space to add 3 photos and embellished around this with some chipboard stickers and die-cuts from the noteworthy pack which co-ordinates with this collection.

Winter Whites (TPC Studio)

I have a snowy themed layout to share today for those of you lucky enough to see some snow at the moment.

I started by cutting 1" off of 2 sides of the 'Falling Snow' paper and rounding the corners. I then drew 2 wavy lines free hand where I was going to cut the paper. I used a second sheet of the Denim Dot paper to create a small border on the wavy edge. Once finished I cut a piece from the Snow Day paper to go in the middle and stuck the layers down to form the background.

The photo doesn't pick it up but the Winter White papers by TPC studios have a beautiful shimmer finish to them.

To embellish the page I cut a 6" x 8.25" rectangle from the Dark Denim Double Dot paper and rounded the corners before adding my embellishments on top and around this. The chipboard word was painted and finished with some glitter flue.

Silent Night (Craft & You)

I have another Christmas / Winter themed layout to share today - this time using papers from the 'Silent Night' collection by Craft & You. These papers are double-sided and heavyweight so they are nice to work with.

I started this layout using the 'Silent Night - 05 Paper' as the base and then kept it simple by just adding a few layers of paper on top. To embellish I cut some poinsettia's from white and green cardstock, layered these up and added a jewelled flower centre.

I painted a snowflake swirl piece of chipboard with white paint and added some glitter glue to the areas with the snowflakes. I also added the glitter glue to the snow covering the trees on the background paper.

Silver & Gold (Bo Bunny)

I felt like getting in the festive mood today so grabbed out some Christmas themed supplies to make a layout ready to add my photo after Christmas day :)  I decided to use the Bo Bunny collection 'Silver & Gold' - I love Bo Bunny collections, the papers are great quality, have lots of bits to cut out and there is always a great selection of different embellishments which co-ordinate perfectly.

For my first layout I created a punched strip to add across the page, we are currently out of stock of this particular punch but we do have a similar one which I have linked below. I cut a piece of paper 7cm wide and punched both edges.

I then added clusters of embellishments - dimensional stickers with glitter accents, some textured poinsettia blossoms, metal trinkets and a lovely pinecone and berry sprig which is brand new by Petaloo.

For my second layout I cut 3 circles in varying sizes to make the focal point. I added some smaller doily shapes cut with a die (we have a few different ones in store which I will link below) from one of the papers in the set so that it all co-ordinates and then embellished with more of the 3-dimensional stickers.

All of the products I used for these layouts are linked below - I used two sheets of the 'Silver & Gold - Red Paper' and 'Silver & Gold - Festivities Paper'.

December Monthly Kits

It is that time of the month again when our monthly kits are released :)

This month we have 3 kits to choose from - a main kit, mini kit and a project life kit.

Our main kit features the gorgeous 'Christmas in Norway' collection by Pion Designs - soft vintage Scandinavian style papers. As always, both layouts shown were created using the kit as inspiration.

Our Mini Kit this month is 'Vintage Christmas' using papers of the same name by Blue Fern Studios. Again, both layouts were created from the kit...

Our Project Life kit is packed with papers, cardstock and embellishments to create pocket-page project life style cards. We have created two spreads as inspiration and we still had lots of papers/embellishments left over to have carried on! The kit also contains 2 page protectors in the format shown by our cards :)

Winter Joy (Scrapberry's) Layout 2

There were so many beautiful papers left in the Scrapberry's Winter Joy paper pack which I used on my last blog post that it didn't take me long to create a second!  For this layout, I again mixed the papers in the paper pack with a couple of separate sheets from the Silver Bells collection by Kaiser Craft.

The white glitter dahlia flowers from my previous post were used again on this layout but layered up with glittery red dahlias. For my chipboard ornament word I first applied a coat of gesso as a base to prime the chipboard and then painted it with a couple of the Christmas release colours of Inklingz paints. I finished by adding a coat of glitter glue in certain areas.

Winter Joy (Scrapberry's)

The layout I want to share today is made using papers by Scrapberry's. This brand is relatively new to us and they recently released two paper collections perfect for Christmas and Winter - 'Winter Joy' and 'That Special Time of Year'.

The papers used on this layout are from the 'Winter Joy' paper pack which has a selection of 13 different shabby chic style papers in soft pinks and blues. This paper pack also co-ordinates really well with the 'Silver Bells' collection by Kaiser Craft released this year so I chose a darker pink from that collection to back my layout on as there wasn't a pink dark enough in the paper pack.

I cut some holly sprays from olive cardstock to frame my photo and used the 'Let it Snow' die act as the title to the layout. The white dahlia flowers used around the photo have a glitter finish and I added an acrylic sprig in baby pink behind these.

Autumn Bliss

I have another Autumn themed layout to share today before we get into the swing of everything Christmas! I wanted to create a simple layout for this one with the white space to show off the falling leaves down the edges.

I matted my photo 3 times and kept it as the focal point.

Nestled (Authentique)

I have another Autumn layout to share today using a mix of Authentique and Little Yellow Bicycle products. I started off by creating a frame from the 'Nestled - Scurry' Paper with brown and kraft cardstock.

To embellish around my picture I used a variety of different textures - a velvet leaf cluster, a dimensional chipboard sticker with jewels, an embossed cardstock sticker and rhinestones.

All of the products I used in this project are linked below :)
