CHA Recap - Me and My Big Ideas

This is our first recap on all of the exciting new items we saw showcased at the CHA trade show in America in January. Over the upcoming weeks we will be posting pictures of items which we were drawn to and impressed with at the show as well as layout, card and projects ideas in the hope it might give you inspiration.

I am going to start with Me and My Big Ideas as their new items based on Project Life Style / Pocket Page Scrapbooking were really impressive. We did stock their 'Pocket Page' range of cards last year when they were first introduced and found these to be really popular - their cards are heavyweight and they bought out packs of speciality cards too with some featuring foil, glitter and 3D layers so look very impressive and give a bit of WOW factor to your page spreads. These were available in a variety of themes last year and they have added to their range this year.

You can see our existing items >> here <<

If you are not familiar with their cards and 'Pocket Page' range you can refer to a previous post we did >> here << last year. There is also a video on this link too for a close up view :)

Another product they have which we stocked last year was their packs of clear stickers - designed to be stuck directly onto photographs to caption or embellish or onto the page protecter above the photograph. Again, their small selection last year was popular so they released more new designs this year including the introduction of gold stickers - a very big trend at the moment! Wedding and Baby themes have been released as well as packs of clear alphabet stickers. We will be stocking these in the near future - their new items are due for release in February and March.

Me and My Big Ideas also released some packs of Jumbo Clear Stickers and we thought the layouts on display featuring these were really eye-catching. They create a real focal point:

Packs of acetate shapes in various different expressions were released as well as new packs of chipboard stickers in a variety of themes. The chipboard sticker packs contain 4 sheets of stickers in each pack and many have glitter accenting on them.

Mambi released packs of pre-cut banner shapes to make it easy to add banner designs to your cards and scrapbook layouts:

This card features the new banner shapes as well as one of their new acetate shapes:

I hope you enjoyed looking at all of these new releases by Me and My Big ideas as well as their layout and project ideas :)
