Layout using Websters Pages 'Modern Romance'

We have recently received two new collections by Websters Pages into our store - 'Modern Romance' and 'New Beginnings'. As soon as I saw the Modern Romance collection I knew I wanted to see what I could come up with using this set and this is the result which I am really pleased with :)

As someone who loves to use a lot of flowers and trims on my layouts I was suprised to find I only used papers to create this and a pearl pen!

 

For this layout I used the following products:

June Monthly Kit Sneak Peek...

For Junes kit we have used the lovely 'Fairy Rhymes' collection by Prima Marketing. We have created two layouts using this months kit:

To alter the Blue Fern Chipboard clock in the kit I painted it first with a coat of 'Fresco Finish - French Roast' Paint. Once dry, I applied a very thin layer of 'Fresco Finish - Crackle Glaze'. After allowing this coat to dry I applied a layer of 'Fresco Finish - Vintage Lace' paint and the crackle effect begins to show within seconds (you can heat this with a heat tool to quicken up the process)

Remember Me Layout 2

The Kaiser 'Remember Me' Collection is still a firm favourite of mine at the moment and I created a second layout in 2 days from this set :)

 

This time round I used the Kaiser Craft 'Remember Me' Papers, collectables and Sticker Sheet as well as a Blue Fern Studios chipboard painted using Cosmic Shimmer Iridescent Watercolour Paint. You can see the products used below :)

Kaiser Craft 'Remember Me'

As soon as I unpacked the Kaiser Craft 'Remember Me' collection I loved it! The colours are beautiful. At first it seems best suited for Rememberance Day but there are quite a few family themed quotes on the papers and in the collectable die cut pack which made the collection seem so much more versatile.

I used the Inka Gold Paint (which comes as a creamy paint) and applied this to the Dusty Attic chipboard with my fingers. The picture does not do this paint justice - it has a lovely metallic finish and works perfectly with the gold in the Poppies Foil Paper.

February Monthly Kit - Studio of Memories

Our kit this month features gorgeous papers by Pion Designs (which we have just started stocking in our store). The papers are heayweight and double-sided so lovely to work with. The designs are Swedish and feature subtle colours and patterns and work well with both scrapbooking and cardmaking. From the kit I created both layouts shown below but as I said the papers are double sided so completely different layouts could be created from this kit. One of the papers features a cut out alphabet so you can add your own sentiments where I have added 'Memories' and 'Our Family'.
