One for the Boys / Men (Authentique Paper)

I wanted to share a couple of layouts today which are for masculine or heritage style photos. I rarely sit and scrap masculine layouts as I'm always drawn to all of the pretty flowers and girly embellishments so this was outside my comfort zone - but we shouldn't avoid scrapping the men in our life! These layouts use a new Authentique Collection called 'Durable'

For the first layout I layered a variety of Durable papers and then added some metal embellishments: screw brads, a metal zip and some cogs. I stamped a sentiment and added a journaling card from the 3x4 card pad which co-ordinates with the Durable collection.

For the second layout I used a Kaiser Craft paper as the base and then layered some of the Durable scraps left over from the first layout as well as some papers from the 6x6 pad. I added a clock using a stencil and some texture paste and added some ink to the background using Distress Ink.

Oh So Lovely (Kaiser Craft)

The layout I wanted to share today was made using the April release by Kaiser Craft - 'Oh So Lovely'.

I added a cluster of flowers by Scrapberry's and Prima Marketing to each corner of the photograph. I used a 3"x4" card from the Captured Moments pack which co-ordinates with this collection to add a sentiment behind the photo.

All That Glitters (Kaiser Craft)

I hope you all had a lovely Easter Weekend. I have a layout to share today using one of the recent collections by Kaiser Craft called "All That Glitters". This collection is full of pretty pinks and mint greens with gold foiling.

For this layout I decided to cut up a number of squares from the 6x6 paper pad which comes from this collection 3.5" x 3.5". I then cut these in half and laid them out in a random order on a sheet of white cardstock.

I cut some floral stems using a Sue Wilson Die and one of the papers from the 6x6 pad to tuck behind the floral die cut shapes. I finished the layout off with a stamped sentiment and some pearl and glitter dots.

'Lovely'

I wanted to share a layout today using some Blue Fern Studios and Prima Marketing products.

The frame is a lovely Resin frame by Prima Marketing. The chipboard was painted white and then stickles glitter glue dots were added to the circle tips. The Prima Marketing Isabella flowers I used are covered in a beautiful fine glitter which matches the clear glitter glue dots I added to the page.

For the title, the 'Lovely' was cut using a new Heidi Swapp word die run through the Big Shot. I added a cluster of different flowers by Prima Marketing to the corners of the frame and cut some leafy vines in the same cardstock as the title.

You can as always find a link to the items used below.

We have some other Prima Marketing substitues to the 'Prima Marketing Butterfly Collection - Pupa Flowers' I used here :)
