A round up of Pion Designs 'Siri's Kitchen' Projects ...

I wanted to share with you all of the beautiful projects created by the Pion Design Team using the new 'Siri's Kitchen' collection in one place. As you can see, this collection isn't limited to Kitchen/Recipe themed projects - the design team have even put this collection into use on Christmas cards!

Autumn Layout - Hello Fall (Little Yellow Bicycle)

I wanted to share an Autumn inspired layout today using some Little Yellow Bicycle papers from the 'Hello Fall' collection.

 To frame the photograph I have used a large clear transparency frame. To adhere this to the page I added some leaf brads in a few places along the flourish lines and attached these through all of the layers to hold into place.

Warm and Cozy (Carta Bella) Layout 2

 For my second layout using the new Carta Bella 'Warm and Cozy' collection I started with a large floral wreath chipboard frame by Blue Fern Studios:

 I firstly primed the chipboard with gesso. Once dry I used 'Olive Vine' H20 paint, 'Lava Red' Iridescent Watercolour Paint and Inklingz 'Brass Knuckles' to colour in the chipboard. All 3 of these paints are solid to begin with - you just need to add a spritz of water to each pot, allow to sit for a moment whilst the water activates the paint and then mix and paint as normal (once you finish with the paints, they harden up ready to be used again in the future). Once the paint was dry I added some Stickles glitter glues and embossing powder in various places.

The stockings were die-cut using a Memory Box die.

The Petaloo Poinsettia and Berry Picks make the chipboard frame more dimensional.

Warm and Cozy (Carta Bella)

I have a couple of projects for you today featuring the brand new 'Warm and Cozy' collection by Carta Bella.

 I wanted to focus on hexagons for the first layout and cut a selection out from the 6" x 6" pad which comes with the collection (this way you get smaller patterns). I backed each hexagon on cardstock to outline these and make them stand out more.

For the corner I die-cut a Pinecone Bough from green cardstock and another from brown cardstock. I cut round the brown pinecone's and layered these over the green shape and then added some green stickles glitter glue.

October Mini Kit Sneak Peek...

Our Mini Kit this month features the brand new 'Rustic Harmony' collection by Kaiser Craft - a collection of pink, vanilla and soft teal colours together with natural wood patterns. We created two layouts from the mini kit:

 One of the papers within this kit features cut out elements so you can match titles to your photos on the layouts:
