January Monthly Kit Sneak Peeks.....

I thought I would share today my layout for the January Monthly kits as a sneak peek....

"Snowfall"

The main kit is 'Snowfall' and perfect for any snowy/wintery photos ... (hopefully we get some snow down here in the South!)

The kit will contain all of the products which I used to create the layouts including the glitter sign and the chain it is hanging on! All that isn't included are tools such as adhesives and the ink coloring used on the lovely Dusty Attic Window Frame Chipboard!

"Avalon"

We have also recently received some new products from a new manufacturer at The Craftz Boutique - Bella! These are not online yet but will be added very soon! So for a second kit, I created the following layout using their new collection 'Avalon', mixed with Dusty Attic, Crate Paper, Petaloo and Prima products.

"Enchanted"

These will be online on the 1st January :)

I hope you all have a Happy Christmas and a healthy New Year.
We Thank You for all of your support of The Craftz Boutique!

Brand New Bo Bunny 'Forever Fall' Collection

I have just finished working with the gorgeous new Autumn themed collection by Bo Bunny - 'Forever Fall'.  Autumn is my favourite time of year and the colours in this set are so rich they work well with any outdoor photo's. I created the layouts below using this new collection and thought I would share them here. The chipboard leaf vine should be on the website shortly. I painted this using Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze which has a glitter sparkle to it which the photo of the layout does not do it justice. Another product I recently used to paint Dusty Attic Chipboard shapes was Twinkling H20 pots - this worked particularly well and the finish was a lovely quality with a metallic sheen (I will post a close up soon).

12 Days of Christmas...

Today I wanted to share a layout I created at the weekend using the new My Minds Eye 12 Days of Christmas collection which we have just received. Sadly we lost our beautiful, loveable labrador to cancer a couple of weeks ago and as soon as I saw these bright funky papers I knew exactly which photo to use! Hunny had such a playful personality that these papers seemed to fit just right. I know Christmas is a while off but thought I would share the layout now as I was so pleased how it turned out - sometimes seeing the products on a layout also helps to show what they are really like unlike looking at the pack images on the website.

New My Minds Eye - Lost & Found 2 Now Online

Welcome to the new Craftz Boutique Blog!

Whilst completing my final year at University I am sorry to say the last blog got neglected - but with education now in the past The Craftz Boutique Blog is back!

I thought I would kick start this blog with a layout I created using the gorgeous new My Minds Eye 'Lost and Found 2 - Rosy' Collection. The papers are so beautiful with glittered accents that the website does not do these papers justice - especially as the images do not allow you to see the reverse side of the paper!

For this layout I used the following products (click the links below to view):
The Mini Rose Sprigs are brand new to the site and are great to fill in any gaps or spaces. They work really well when trying to add more detail to an area of flowers. You can see them all here in varying sizes and colour ways.

Have a great weekend!
